How to create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation

  1. Getting started

you will see a blank slide with space for a title and a subtitle in two boxes when you open a PowerPoint. You can use this page to begin creating your presentation right away. If you want to click inside and type, but you could delete them and insert anything you want And You can also put a title and subtitle in the boxes. To demonstrate this I will put a title in the title box But I will replace the subtitle box with a picture from my file.Then you click on the Title box and type the title

  1. Creating Slides

The subtitle box is a container for inserting text but we do not want text right there. So we will get rid of this box by clicking on one edge to highlight it and then delete.To put a picture into this space, go to Insert on the menu bar and select Picture. You will have a picture in mind to use. Make sure the picture you want to insert is saved in a file (in My Pictures or on a flash drive) and select it from the list. The picture If you want to insert the picture on the slide, but it may be so big that it covers up your entire slide.Then You can select the picture and make it smaller before using it. Make image small by grabbing the edges with your pointer and dragging.

  1. Create a title page

When you click the first box that says Click to add the title and add the title of presentation from a PowerPoint template. And click the bottom box to add a subtitle that you choose. If You want to change their font, size, the color goes to toolbar options at the top. You can also change the size of the text box by selecting it, and then drag the corners of the box in slides. Select the box to move the text boxes, and move your arrow over the border of the box. A four arrow icon will appear in presentation and click this icon will allow you to move the text boxes wherever you choose.

  1. Add charts, pictures, and graphs in your presentation

If you want to insert a chart, picture, graph, and any other graphic in your presentation so click on the 'Insert' tab at the top of the window. You will see buttons of all the options of what you can insert into your slide available in your design. Now the designated box and insert it where you want to have an empty text or image box.You saw in the toolbox will show up in the middle of the box like little pictures of the same option.Now you can click any of these pictures to insert as well. You can add a border or edit it however you want in the 'Format' tab of your chart and graph. 

5.Adding a design

If you want to add a design to your presentation to make it more professional looking. So you can type the text for your new slide, then go to Format on the menu bar and select Slide Design. Your design choices are shown on the right side of the page in the presentation. You simply click on the different designs to see how your slide would look.

6.Add transition

If you want to add transitions in between your slides then go to the Animations tab at the top of the page. Now you can scroll through all the given options of transitions in slides, and drift over them to see a preview of your presentation. Now select the slide you want the transition applied to, and then click the transition you choose. 7.Changing the order

you can change the order of the slides which is made by you. For a change, the order of the slides firstly click and drag the slides from where you want them in the order. You can search small button above the left side of your slides that are located smaller. You will see a list of your slides and click and drag your slides to where you want.These are available on the right side of the page. 

8.Watch your slide-show

You can preview your slide-show at any time.You can go to View the menu bar and select Slide Show for seeing your new creation at work. Now your presentation will appear.You can use your arrow keys on your computer keyboard to move from one slide to another slide. If you want to go back to your design mode, simply press Escape key. Now you get enough experience with a PowerPoint presentation to experiment with other features.
