He looked at the guest who had accompanied Him for the inaugural function and said, “These people are serving My devotees and I am serving them, so I am servant of servants.” Such humility is possible only for God!Madhusudan Naidu
I was reminded of what happened in Germany when a young man shared his predicament with Swami during the European Youth meet, “Swami! We want to share about You and Your message with more and more youths but unfortunately they would not be able to appreciate the concept of God incarnating in Human form. What should we do?”Madhusudan Naidu Muddenahalli
Swami answered very compassionately when He said, “Talk more to them about what I have done than who I am. And if you must introduce me, then tell them I am not the Master of Masters, but rather I am the servant of servants.”
As I watch Him now from close quarters, He is all the time serving. Whether securing a job for someone, or getting someone else married, blessing another with a child, helping yet another with his new home, from health to wealth, from fame to family, from the pettiest to the paramount, He is there listening, counselling, consoling, advising, guiding, solving and serving everyone.
Servant of servants is our Lord!
